Unexpected accidents can cost you time, money and worry.

But not if you sign up for Trailer Fleet Services Vehicle Protection Plan (VPP), designed specifically for our trailer rental and lease customers. VPP can cut your costs and provide you with protection to reduce your exposure. Best of all, there are no forms or applications to fill out and no paperwork in the event of a claim.

What is VPP?

VPP is a collision and specified perils damage waiver that relieves the customer of responsibility for accidental damages to a trailer from:
  • Collision and overturn
  • Specified perils: fire, lightning, theft, explosion, flood, windstorm, hail, earthquake
  • Roof damage, vandalism*
  • All at a very competitive cost!
VPP can cut your costs and provide you with protection to reduce your exposure.

*Excludes theft of tires and/or wheels, unless entire trailer is stolen. Accidents resulting from deliberate acts will not be covered under VPP. Examples include: drunken driving, improper or unlawful operation, unauthorized drivers, floor damage caused by loading or unloading.

A brief Q&A:

Q. Isn't my present coverage enough?

A. You may still be faced with a hefty deductible, along with high documentation fees each time you add rental equipment to your fleet. Our VPP program deductibles are low, and there are no documentation fees.

Q. How does this plan compare to a blanket insurance policy?
A. Our premiums and deductibles are frequently lower, and you only need to pay for the time you rent. Theres no large advance payment and no complicated application and approval process.

Q. WhIf I have a VPP claim, will Trailer Fleet Services notify my insurance carrier?
A. You do not have to report VPP claims to your insurance carrier and neither will Trailer Fleet Services.
